Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I appreciate the fact that you have been working towards making life more meaningful for Nigerian teenagers through your Newletters- Growing Up, which I have also found very useful. Looking at teenagers and knowing  that some are only able to make themselves heard by writing, I strongly suggest a “Teeny Round Table” Column In the newsletter, where teenagers who send their problems could have the elicited responses from other teenagers published.

I feel that this column will be a way of trying to help us teenagers to express ourselves and share our experiences on issues affecting us, especially, problems we encounter during the period of our adolescence.

Esther Roberts,
Ebute Metta, Lagos.

Dear Esther,

We acknowledge receipt of your letter and we thank you for the thoughtful suggestions made therein.

You will be delighted to know that your suggestion for a “Teeny Round Table” Column has been favourably considered and we believe it would commence in the next edition of the Newsletter.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to more contributions from you.

Dear Editor,

I wish to congratulate you for the production of “Growing Up” – a newsletter for teenagers and to commend you for its contents and presentation. We have no doubt that young people in Nigeria will find the newsletter interesting and educative. We hope that you will ensure the sustainability of this remarkable initiative and assure you of our support and assistance whenever you need it.
